One of the beautiful things about this homeschooling lifestyle is that there is variation and adaptation–we have the freedom to adopt what works for each of our children. Today I’m talking with Jen Dodrill, homeschooling veteran mom. She didn’t start homeschooling from the beginning, but chose to do so when once of her children began to struggle. What resulted was a beautiful learning environment.
Jen has been married 34 years, and is a proud mom to 5 kids and she homeschooled the youngest three using the eclectic style. The ‘baby’ graduated in May, but Jen refuses to bow to empty-nest syndrome! She teaches Oral Communication as an adjunct instructor and writes curriculum under History at Home at TeachersPayTeachers. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her kids and adorable granddaughters. Connect with her on her blog – Jen Dodrill History at Home, Instagram, Facebook, and her favorite place – Pinterest!
